Impression of The Month - Music Is In The Air: Concert Photography

The month of October - full pages of a photographer's diary, a very busy end of summer, as well as the beginning of golden autumn. ☺️ Among the recorded recordings, one that was suddenly booked stands out. It is about photographing the international music festival Multimod II, organized by the Guarnerius Cultural Institution. Music is in the air! ☺️

Concert photography is really a little different from other stage performances. Using all given ambient elements, concert photography tries to "capture" and record the given event, emotion and atmosphere. In this connection, it is necessary to highlight the very essence of the scene. The Multimod II Festival itself represents the world of contemporary performance-composition activity, which brings us diversity among performers, styles and cultures. A real stunt - an extremely interesting project for photography!

As the participants-performers of the Festival are the composers themselves, a dose of greater solemnity, responsibility and authority as well as positive trepidation spreads on and across the stage, especially when it comes to the role of photography at a given moment. Thus, the photographic composition replaces the absence of sung and played notes with the movements and facial expressions of the performers. "Capturing" the most expressive moment is crucially. Therefore, the concentration and speed of the photographer are extremely important when photographing a concert, as well as with all other stage events. Capturing the entire atmosphere is the absolute and only task.

The Multimode II festival and classical music is a true refresher of the month of September and thus certainly became the impression of the month - it is a real pleasure to photograph such an event where a multitude of notes, styles, and cultures certainly contribute to the photographic frames. And the personality of the photographer himself, is it also included? Of course it is, you can't photograph a classical music festival if it doesn't touch you at all, if you don't understand it, and finally if you're not a fan of it. Simply, notes fluttering in the air must be woven into photographic media, there is no other alternative. ☺️ Music is in the air! ❤️
