Biography

My name is Sanja Veljkovic, I was born in 1982 in Belgrade, where I live and work.

I finished photography school at the Association of Professional Photographers of Yugoslavia.

I have been engaged in professional photography since 2010, while I had my first solo exhibition, Mirror of Self, in 2011 at Teatar 78 gallery in Belgrade. I also completed basic and master's studies in art history at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Belgrade, which further influenced the development of photographic handwriting and enriched the visual vocabulary that I use in my professional work. 

As a professional photographer, I focus on portrait and family photography, art and culture, advertising photography, as well as interior and exterior, food and beverage photography. Photography provides an inexhaustible source of imagination and creativity - I love to play. For me, it is silent communication - a way to record emotion, atmosphere and character. Whether it is a portrait, the visual identity of a brand or the interior of a space, I approach each project very carefully and with a lot of attention.

During the photo shoot, I try to create a relaxed and playful atmosphere, especially with a music playlist in my studio. I guide you through the creation process, from start to finish, help with preparation and posing so that the photo shoot is successful - relaxed and carefree. 

In business, I work with individuals, companies and brands, those for whom aesthetics, emotion and a consistent visual identity are important.
