Have you ever wondered what it's like for a photographer during a shoot of 5 hours of work on his feet, hundreds of squats done, a thousand spoken words, with a smile on his face, where does he get his energy from? The answer is simple - he has to train, build condition! ☺️ Being a professional photographer, in addition to talent, knowledge and experience, owning and handling photo equipment, also requires psycho-physical readiness. Photography is a physical job, so a photographer must be ready, especially for some demanding shoots, such as, for example. corporate photography of 50 people in one day or photography of objects/products that require work from a squat. For every successful shoot, in addition to physical preparation, mental preparation is also required, so a photographer in training not only maintains the pace, but also reflects a good mood and spreads positive energy, which is very important for photography itself - does this seem tiring and complicated to you? Believe me, it's not, at least not when you're fit and in shape. ☺️

Training in the gym, running on the treadmill, fitness - no - this time it was absolutely replaced with the most beautiful activity possible, hiking! Just imagine: untouched nature, the track, the team and you - you'll admit, there's no compromise, right? ☺️
A hike to the top of Mount Beljanica, 1339 m above sea level, is scheduled for the second day of Easter of the current year, a mountaineering event organized by Explorizam. The excitement is all present, I had to go, of course with my favorite companion, how can we do without him! ☺️

Oh that nature, it just grabs you! Dense forests, wide glades, steep and rocky paths. How who, but surely something must be felt - the heart is beating frantically, the right ear is clogged, the foot slips on the ascent with an incline of more than 45º, you wonder why you needed this. And it certainly is, because according to the AI, you are on one of the three most demanding trails in Serbia - not for beginners at all! And for those of us who are in good shape, and for whom hiking is not our first time, it is definitely a pleasure and satisfaction, how could we not be in such an enchanting environment!

Mountaineering action, as difficult as Beljanica, is an absolute test of endurance, mental and physical! Only strong and forward, calm and full of spirit. The head is emptied in a second, there is no room for accumulated thoughts, the emphasis is exclusively on endurance. For a photographer, it's a little difficult to carry photo equipment, it's an additional physical and mental burden - there's constant concern for its safety, as well as the somewhat unpleasant feeling of constantly lagging behind the group for taking photos, you have to photograph little by little - how can you resist? But as part of the team you have to be in sync with them, thus strengthening the team spirit, also important for building good cooperation with clients - another segment of training for a photographer. And you are probably now wondering how much more, what else does he need for work? Ugh, it never ends... ☺️

One of the most beautiful exercises for the eyes, body and spirit - landscape photography! It also brings the other side of the medal - to get to know your country, you also get to know yourself, so you should love it even more. It also means care if some things don't work as they should - it has to be protected and nurtured like no other. Accordingly, this photo story in the month of April is dedicated to the International Day of Nature Protection (11.4.) as well as the World Day of the Planet (22.4.) - coincidence or not, the dice lined up perfectly this time! ☺️
And so, they say that a picture speaks and is worth a thousand words, but no one mentions e.g. those 1339 m above sea level and tens of thousands of steps passed with a few slips and trips on stones scattered on the terrain of the ascent that were needed to capture that special moment, that peace that fits into just one frame, which is by no means a simple trigger - challenging and irresistible, isn't it? ❤️
